I’ll often come across videos that do not have the correct Aspect Ratio either in the resolution, IE 720x480 nor set as a AR flag (which I’m very happy VEAI recognises and respects).
Currently I’ll pass a video through MKVToolNix and manually set the correct AR flag but it would be nice if we could do this in VEAI itself.
Especially when dealing with the occasional video that cannot be passed through MKVToolNix such as WMV files. In those instances, I’ll normally pass the input video through StaxRip and reencode it in ProRes and then set the corrrect AR flag on that.
