All I use Topaz for is sharpening photos that are 95% in focus but not tact sharp. I only open topaz from photomechanic to apply a sharpening preset and then send the photo to photomechanic which automatically closes topaz.
Every time I open a photo with Topaz about 4-5 seconds is wasted while autopilot runs. Once it finishes I can then select the sharpening preset I saved, and then save the file and go back to photomechanic.
Please allow us to completely turn off autopilot completely as it is a waste of my time. I’m not saying turn off the settings it suggests. I’m saying make it where autopilot does not run at all so I don’t have to wait for it.
I want to vote for this topic too. I have Autopilot disabled (so it doesn’t apply its recommendations) but it still runs, wasting my time making the app unresponsive until it’s done. I sometimes want to see what Autopilot suggests (although almost never, as its suggestions almost always result in an image that looks artificial). I’d like to be able to run it manually. But I want to stop it from running at all unless I do so myself.
Please all total disabling of the Auto-Analyze Images mode- (even with auto pilot off) Turning off Autopilot is not helpful. This is very painful to wait through and slows down everything i need to do.
I essentially what i know i want to do in most cases and I think this applies most user workflows (i.e it is less experimental type work) with your otherwise amazing program.
