Feature request | Batch versioning with generative models

I would like to select two or more variations when batch exporting images on redefine, so for example, i would choose two output variations, creative 2, texture 2, and creativity 3 , texture 3. Then when it exports it will process the image twice before moving to the next image. similar to the compare feature on basic models but when it exports. I would also like the compare feature for the redefine on different settings

As a user of Gigapixel AI, I would like to be able to add to a processing queue some images to upscale and still, be able to work on other images in parallel and feed in that same queue. I would like to be able to send to that queue different processing variants of the same images. This need arose in particular with the release of the recover and redefine features which are all far more resource consuming (and thus time consuming) that the original upscaling models.
I would see the result as something similar to the queue management that can be seen on a software such as handbrake.

thats the reason I want to create multiple outputs from the redefine because it takes so long to process or preview them, so being able to add them to a que would be a way that could work.. there could be another button next to “export image” and say export to waiting que, you could then make the settings, send to que, adjust the settings send to que again until your ready to export them, then it processes all of them

Agreed, having an actual render queue that functions similar to Topaz Video AI would be very useful.

Could you add a batch processing function for when processing multiple images with Recover V2 using different settings ranging from none to high?

I mentioned this back in Gigapixel AI version 8, but I was ignored. I sometimes need to create two or three variations of the same photo with settings ranging from “none,” “low,” and “medium.” As it stands, if I batch three images with different settings for each in Recover V2, they are all exported with the “none” setting. This is quite frustrating. It means I have to constantly monitor the process, previewing one image and monitoring it until it’s finished before applying another setting to the same model, previewing it, and monitoring it again until the final render. And so on.

It might have been me who asked for this months ago, hahaha. I hope it will be included in future updates soon.

Personally I have been duplicating files in the filesystem and pre-naming them with the settings I plan on applying in Gigapixel.

Basically manual version prepping.

Then when I bring them all into Gigapixel I apply the settings to each according to their names and when I export, there are more details on the file names than what Gigapixel normally will export with so I can keep track of what is what.

After all the versions export I can easily delete all the source duplicates.

Not ideal, but it is a workaround to the current limitations.

That’s what I do too. I make a copy by duplicating the file. The original goes through the Recover 2 step in “None” mode, and the copy goes through the “Low” mode. Sometimes I do a third iteration with the “Medium” mode. This then allows me to combine the three versions of the same photo in Photoshop to maximize the final quality and get close to that of a DSLR camera. I take a lot of photos with my smartphone.
