I really love these 2 feature in the Topaz Photo app, and I wish these 2 features were also within the Gigapixel AI app too. Both software apps do a great job and with similar results, but I think there’s room for more improvements for some (or all) the features to be within Gigapixel AI too. A lot of times I use the Gigapixel AI to edit the sizing and image improvements, then I reopen the same photo in the Topaz Photo app to give the photo even more improvements. Sometimes the AI models remove some of the finer details like the grain & light shadows in “people” images, adding this back into the photos helps to add the light shadowing that’s sometimes needed to improve the photo to look more like the original one. The AI does a great job at improving or restoring, but sometimes it can make skin to look too smooth and not realistic as it should look. So I really do love that grain filter in Topaz Photo!
