Feature Improvement | UI Suggestions

Guys i do not understand who in your staff think that removed: Remove button from main UI and ading it to Add enhancement. its button one of the most used when i work with pictures, would be cool idea that support work of your clients???

now instead of one simple click i have to do 2 clicks and aim to certain option on combolist.

Why the hell do you make such antiuser decisions?

I agree to an extent, there are functions that are used by most people on a regular enough basis that discrete function buttons would be a great time saver.

@rabbit1qaz

Thanks for the feedback.

Our team hears you, and we’ll consider your suggestion as we continue refining all aspects of Photo AI.

It is all very well for software to look clean and minimalist when not being used, but when you have to start navigating drop-downs sometimes nested drop-downs it starts to get wearing and annoying (A mistake Corel now makes) as well as slowing your workflow. Clicking enhancements then function, then that function has a menu, seems a pointless obstacle course. I would suggest a customisable UI or better still a sidebar with all the discrete functions with their own button. Unless you plan to compete with photoshop you are never going to run into space issues. In summary clean minimalist UI’s look good on Idle software but can be a pain when you actually want to use software.

Honestly, if I were part of the Topaz team, I would champion the creation of a minimalist, yet comprehensive “All-In-One” GUI. While it might seem unconventional at first, I believe it could be an exceptionally functional and powerful tool.

Imagine having all the key functions elegantly integrated into a single, unified interface. This could include:

  • A second pass (2nd pass) option with Gigapixel.

  • Optional pre- and post-processing with Photo AI.

  • Intermediate resize and blend options.

  • The ability to incorporate Photoshop actions directly into the workflow.

  • Creation of custom TensorRT models from the ONNX format.

  • Options for custom TensorRT upscaling .

  • A dedicated custom filter for sharpening and adding film grain .

On another note, I sincerely believe that all users with a regular license should have access to the Command Line Interface (CLI) —with limitations on parallel execution, of course—at least for the standard, non-generative models.

Furthermore, implementing support for custom LUTs and a few other similar enhancements seems like a feasible and welcome addition.

While I’m not a developer, but simply a passionate user, it seems the focus is heavily on new beta models. I feel that improving the existing models with new training would be incredibly valuable. I understand that it’s likely easier and more practical for the development team to implement new things.

These are just the thoughts of a dedicated user.

Best regards! :)))
