"Error Running Model" - still a problem in Photo AI 1.5.2

I’m trying to batch process a bunch (~100) of photos, and keep getting “Error Running Model” messages on a lot of them. I am trying to reduce my photos to 2048 pixels on the longest side, for posting to social media.

On a related note, it would be a wonderful thing if there were a way to tell Photo AI to reduce all photos in the batch to X pixels on the long side, instead of having to go into the settings for EVERY SINGLE ONE of them, and change the size individually. If this needs to be a separate post, please advise.

@lpenderg For the “Error Running Model” it sounds like there are missing model files due to a buggy installation. If you’re using a Mac, please follow the steps below to fix this.

  1. In MacOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files & Folders, find Installer and enable all locations for it.

  2. Run the Topaz Photo AI installer. You can download a new installer from the downloads page directly. https://topazlabs.com/downloads/

If you’re using Windows, please disable antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installer from downloading the model files. Then rerun the installer.

As for the universal dimensions, we’re working on some Autopilot improvements that better allow you to specify which settings you want to carry over across your batch.
