I am seeing this error for the first time ever. Am launching Photo AI v2.0.5 as a plugin from Photoshop; have updated both Photo AI and Photoshop within the last few days.

Photo AI processed a DNG version of this same image without error last night in batch mode even when other images had their crop unexpectedly altered.

Update: by default, Photo AI displays a half-oval green arrow next to the “Remove Noise” switch. If I hover over that arrow, Photo AI displays “reset to Autopilot recommendations”. If I attempt to run Photo AI, I get the “error loading model…” message, and processing halts.

If instead I click on the green arrow, causing a single green dot to appear with the message “Recommended by Autopilot”, and then launch denoising, the Photo AI plugin processes my image as expected.

I would prefer not to have to use this workaround, and I hope that this observation helps troubleshooting.

It looks like a Mac permission conflict blocked some model files from downloading. Please follow the steps below to fix this.

  1. In MacOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files & Folders, find Installer and enable all locations for it.
  2. Run the Topaz Photo AI installer. You can download a new installer from the downloads page directly. https://topazlabs.com/downloads/

Let me know if that works.

This fix works. Thank you.

I cannot find the installer… where would it be… i just downloaded and installed but not finding it in Files and folder location
