THis doesn’t seem like an intentional feature. In any event, the UI is ambiguous and should be clarified.
I’ve paid for Gigapixel AI and I’m genuinely happy with the version I own. What I’m not happy with is the constant “Update Available” prompt in the main UI. When I click it, I’m told to renew my licence, but I don’t want to upgrade, and there’s no option to dismiss or permanently hide the button.
I understand that updates require an active licence, but forcing an upgrade prompt on users who are deliberately staying on their paid version feels intrusive. Could we please have a simple way to disable or hide the update notice for those of us who aren’t planning to upgrade? It would make the experience much cleaner and far less distracting.
