For Gigapixel Studio would be nice to alter the export name from say xxxx-edit.tif to say xxxx-2.tif
Hi Martin.
Let’s hope Topaz add this feature in the future.
In the meantime here’s a workaround it not quite what you’re asking for but, it is an option.
If you use Gigapixel as a Plugin with Lightroom Classic or similar software and you send your image to Gigapixel via the Edit in method
Simply Right Click on your Image or the Thumbnail and select Edit in with Gigapixel a Popup window will appear then, Choose Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments.
Lightroom will create a TIFF copy of your Image and send it to Gigapixel and once you’ve Enhanced the image and Save the TIFF Image back to Lightroom.
If you were to send a second copy of your image to Gigapixel via the Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments.
Now, when you Save your Image back to Lightroom the Saved Image will have the same File Name except it will have a number 2 on the end plus, you can keep repeating this process and Lightroom will keep adding numbers to the end.
It may not be the answer you’re looking for but, if anyone wishes to Edit multiple versions of their images in Gigapixel with different settings this is one way of doing so.
An alternative option would be to use multiple Layers within Photoshop or similar applications
Hope this helps
Thanks for the thought. Currently after processing in Gigapixel Studio and saving in LrC, I change the name in LrC.
