Recover faces v3 is much better than v2. Awesome! Am I missing something here? I want to be able to set the defaults for the model settings so I don’t have to change them every time.
For example, if using recover faces, I ALWAYS want to use v3. It keeps defaulting to v2.
For upscaling, I ALWAYS want to use Recover v3, but it keeps defaulting to Standard MAX. Any way to fix this?
It is not currently possible to force these models through Preferences. I have flagged this to the development team.
In the meantime, the best workaround is to:
- Turn off Auto-Pilot in Preferences.
- Create a Preset that includes Recover Faces v3 and Upscale Recover v3.
- Apply that Preset to your images or batches after import.
This will allow you to consistently use those models until dedicated Preferences options become available.
