I’ve noticed that manually running enhancement and then interpolation is times faster than selecting both in a single pass. Why? Is there a quality benefit to doing both in one pass? Is it advisable to enhance videos with repeating frames before interpolating them? (Would the repeated frames look different from each other and not get detected by interpolation? If that makes sense.)
Do you have any advice on speeding up processing speeds? I have a 3090, 3900x, 32 GB RAM, and a fast internal SSD. I’ve already changed Topaz’s installation folder and temp/resource/temp folders to non-system locations.
Thanks!
My preference is to run interpolation without enhancement first. Then I can try different enhancements without having to do interpolation over and over again.
