Video AI is a desktop application that runs directly on your computer. It includes a variety of models for enhancement, frame interpolation, stabilization, SDR-to-HDR conversion and motion deblur.
Most of these models can also be processed using cloud rendering, which is useful if your system doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements for Video AI or if you need to process large batches of videos quickly.
You can try Video AI for free by downloading it from the Topaz Labs Download Page.
Starlight is a diffusion-based model, separate from the standard Video AI models. Due to its size and processing demands, Starlight can only run in the cloud using cloud credits on server-grade hardware.
You can access Starlight in two ways:
- Through the Video AI desktop app (license required)
- Directly in the web app (no license required)
To help you see what Starlight can do, you get 3 free 10-second previews per week in the web app or in the Video AI app. These previews are short samples to show you Starlight’s results — they aren’t the same as the free trial for Video AI, which lets you process your own videos locally and includes a full set of tools that allows you to fine-tune parameters to control different settings.
