It was working normally but from one moment to the next the line disappeared and the split no longer works, only a little hand appears on the screen

The Split Screen is working, it’s just not in the middle of the screen. Because, Photo AI remembers the last place you left it
For instance, if you placed it on the far left of the screen to view the whole enhanced image and then closed Photo AI, the next time you reopen Photo AI and click on Split Screen that’s where you’re find the line on the far left.
As for only showing the hand that’s there so you can move the image around the screen.
For example if the Split Screen line was in the middle then you’re be able to move the image either side of the line to view different areas
