Education | Set Upscale To Specific Output Size

On you working area you get one size, the rescale window you get another general 5 to 10 pixels difference then when you save you will get yet another size again 2 to 5 pixels different but sometimes several thousand and lastly when you cheque the save image on your PC you get yet another size. If I crop an image to 16:9 for a 3840 x 2160 wallpaper for instance what I usually get is 3839x2163 it only produce the right and expected size 40% of the time in fact photo AI has never reliably rescaled an image above that 40% rate.

Hello,

If you want to set a specific upscale size, before importing any files you can do this in Edit > Preferences > Upscale and Resize and set this output size. Also make sure in the Auto-Pilot section your Auto-Pilot is on, if not already.

Tried that on very version for the last year, you get maybe 5 accurate resizes before it goes nuts again, sometimes not even one. Having to restart Topaz every 3 to 5 images is a monumental pain and make batch processing almost impossible. Mixed upscaling and down scaling makes it worse.
