Education | How To Edit Files To Avoid Color & White Balance Shift | Capture One

I am using a sony a1 mk 2, and capture one. I am seeing a major color shift when editing with topaz photo. Color shifts toward orange. I would post photos, but I don’t see how to do that.

I did not see this issue with a Sony a1 mk1.

Also, I only see this when using “image/edit with/ process with photo A1”

Hi John.

If it a Camera Profile issue then, the Sony A1 Mark II isn’t supported yet by Topaz because, Topaz use a third party RAW profiles from LibRaw here’s a link for the profile list

this is always the case with new Cameras the only workaround until support is added is either convert your RAW Files to DNG using the Adobe DNG converter app

Here’s the link for both Windows and Mac

Windows

https://www.adobe.com/go/dng_converter_win

Mac

https://www.adobe.com/go/dng_converter_mac

Hope this helps

can you also confirm from what plugin this is used this: “image/edit with/ process with photo A1”

It would be best to use the RAW file directly in Topaz. Let us know what plugin and we can see if its one that send the RAW file to Topaz or not. We do support this camera. (We have few models supported that Lib RAW hasnt updated yet, this is one we support)
