Education | How do I use dng files with topaz image

I have just bought the $9 per month Topaz Image. But I cant seem to upload raw files. Surely I am not restricted to using jpg files? Any help appreciated

Hi.

You’re need Topaz Photo for RAW Files I’m afraid here’s a list of supported File Formats: PNG, JPEG, WEBP, TIF, and HEIC.

Note: WEBP, TIF, and HEIC files are converted and exported as PNG.

Thanks for your message — Topaz Image Web currently supports PNG, JPEG, WEBP, TIF, and HEIC files only, so RAW files aren’t supported directly.

If you’re working with RAW images, you’ll need to convert them first (for example to JPEG or TIFF) before uploading.

Please add RAW file support to GigaPixel iOS/Topaz iOS too. iPhone 17 pro DNG/ProRes images aren’t supported on iPhone app. Sony A7 V RAW files aren’t supported neither. Millions of people already use these 2 devices, and we got Topaz Pro subscriptions for our workflow just to find out Topaz doesn’t support iPhone’s the famous ProRes image format! Or the Sony A7 V, the top selling camera worldwide isn’t supposed by Topaz for iOS. We have to install another app to convert the iPhone and A7 V images and reduce the image quality/details for Topaz iOS? That’s not fair in 2026.
