Export grayscale PNG image from Photoshop and then load into Gigapixel. Gigapixel fails to export the processed image as PNG. Creates a zero-byte file with error “Cannot open output file”. To save your work, you can switch to JPG export but Photoshop reports “The embedded ICC profile cannot be used because the ICC profile is invalid. Ignoring profile.” Gigapixel just seems to have problems exporting (not processing) grayscale images.
I just discovered that you can choose “Preserve input color space” at export and Gigapixel will save the grayscale PNG without error.
