Edited image saves, but doesn’t get imported into Lightroom catalog

I just purchased GP (8.3.3) yesterday, so I may not have things set up correctly, but in Lightroom (Mac) when I choose “Edit in…” and select GP, it opens and does the editing with no problem, but when I save the image it puts it in the same folder as the original but doesn’t put it in the Lightroom catalog. I have to manually synchronize the folder to get it into the Lightroom catalog.

When I save, I’m getting the GP menu that lets me rename the file. I think that might be part of the problem, because with Photoshop, it just appears in Lightroom with the name set in the External Editors Preferences.

Shouldn’t the round trip with GP work the same as it does with Photoshop?

Thanks. I was basically doing but the article said, however, in the blue box at the lower right it says “Export to Adobe Lightroom Classic.” Mine says, “Export image.”

So it appears that when the image is passed from Lightroom to GP, the Topaz software isn’t getting the message that it came from Lightroom. Guess it’s time to contact Topaz support.
