No, I’m afraid not, the 300 Credit, will be refreshed every month whereas, if you purchase Credits they will be retained until you use them basically, no time limit
If on the other hand, you decide to opt for one of the Monthly Credit Subscriptions where you receive monthly Credits you can stack theses up to four times your Monthly Subscription however, if you go over that limit you will loose the extra ones.
In light of all that, if purchase or Subscribe for that matter and combine them with your monthly quota that comes with your Founders Topaz Studio deal you can make substantial saving over the cause of time over the purchase or subscription prices.

What AND-E said is correct except that monthly credit subscriptions can stack 5x* times your monthly sub.
For example, a Standard plan subscriber (400 credits) can keep a maximum balance of 2,000 credits.

What confuses me.. is how the credits are actually used.. I mean, I have never purchased credit, but over the year, have accumulated some bonus ones, in the order of the thousands. And being a founding member, I get 300 monthly video cloud credits..
Now, If I render a video, will the bonus credits be used, the video ones, or purchased credit?
I’ve not yet done it, as I don’t trust the spending uncertainty, and personally I’m thinking to drop the service completely, and eventually just purchase credit.. Also, the credit would disappear in case of not-renewal?

You haven’t actually accumulated thousands of Bonus Credits, if you’re noticed you haven’t been revising the 300 Founders Monthly Credits and your Total has remained the same because, something happened I’m not sure what that was but, Founder Members were all given a year’s worth of Credits 3,600 plus the Credits you already owned equals your current amount.
Therefore, if you decide to Render any videos then, any subsequent Credits will be deducted from this Total.
Also, any Credits you purchase in the future will be yours until you decide to use them it’s only Subscription Credits that have a Lifespan which varies depending on the subscription.
For example, the 300 Studio Credits are reset after each month. If on the other hand, you decide to opt for one of the Monthly Credit Subscriptions where you receive monthly Credits you can stack theses up to Five times your Monthly Subscription however, if you go over that limit you will loose the extra ones.

But my main concern was the order in which the credits are used… as there is not something like “2000 credits remaining - of which 1499 monthly”, so I know can still use 1499 before using the 500 purchased separately from the subscription.
Do you have any idea if there is an order in which the credits are used? And how many of the total are the monthly ones?
Yes interesting I would suggest getting clarification from Topaz Support as I haven’t got a definite answer but I do as you mentioned the Monthly Credits are used first before your Purchased Credits
As for the remaining Credits I’m like you unsure about that so, as I suggested you’ll probably be better contacting Topaz Support here’s the link to contact them directly

Have this doubt because you lach a system that tells up something along the lines of
“2000 credits remaining - of which 1499 monthly and 100 bonus”,
so we can know we can still use 1499 of the mothly ones, before using the 100 bonus ones,
and subsequently the 500 purchased separately from the subscription or any other way.
At least, we hope this to be the order, monthly > bonus > purchased.
Please, make it clear some place, and provide a section on the account page
to check for this kind of information, as well a credit usage history to check,
which should specify WHICH credit has been consumed.

Are you really saying that the 3,000+ credits I have on my founder’s plan are going to expire on my renewal date?! Why is this? This would force me to use them all up before that date…

If you have Credits that you have purchased those Credits do not have an Expiry date.
If you have Credits on a monthly Subscription plan then, any unused Credits you have leftover will rollover to the following month and you can have up to five times your monthly allocation.
If you have a Topaz Studio Subscription then you are allocated 300 each month for Video which will be renewed / refreshed each month.
Meaning if you don’t use them you loose them
As I mentioned, with your Topaz Studio Subscription you receive 300 Credits every month as part of your subscription.
However, you might have notice that those Credits haven’t been added every month and for some reason probably because, everyone’s previous Topaz Application Licence’s were expiring on different dates, I don’t know that was just a guess.
Topaz decided to give everyone a full years worth of Credits as a Special promotion call it a Gift if you like that will expire on your Subscription renewal date.
Basically it’s a promotion therefore is subject to an Expiry Date which is in this case is every bodies Subscription renewal date.
Topaz made no secret of this and around two valuable months have past already
If you don’t use them by the time your renewal for the Topaz Studio Subscription comes round you will loose them.
