Has anyone (Topaz or users) used the AI apps on an eGPU-equipped 2018 Mac Mini? I’m still evaluating staying with Mac or returning to PC, the switch-over process on the latter being a hassle.
I have read that Adobe Enhanced Details in LR/ACR relies solely on GPU like the Topaz AI products. Adobe says that eGPU should be supported for Macs that only have integrated graphics, i.e. the Mini. But it has been determined by digilloyd that the eGPU is not utilized even though it is recognized by both Mojave 14.4 and Photoshop. What hasn’t been determined is whether the bug lies with Apple or Adobe. Hence, my question about the Topaz AI apps.
