Am currently using V1.3.3 to improve some old, low res photos. I have been using the “Recover faces v2” model and have noticed that in many cases it gives the subject a “fatter” nose that what should be the case in the image. Most everything else about the faces is incredibly sharp and accurate but I can’t use the enhanced photos because the noses are obviously “AI enhanced.” Thanks for any feedback. I’m still learning the program so it could be something I have overlooked.
Can you post the before and after files? Make sure to put Revover Faces after the Recover upscale model.
It will help us see what you are experiencing
Here is your image with Wonder 2 model applied:
I don’t think it needs face recovery at all.
And here is original image → SeedVR2 @ 3x magnification → Topaz Wonder 2 @ 2x magnification with Face recovery Creative @ 30%.

@bill.morgan I see! Considering this is the before file (left) this is very highly pixelated and will need a generative model like Wonder, not Recover and not Recover Faces.
This is left your original, middle of your Recover results, and right @urix.lookin results with the Wonder 2 model (can use this in Topaz Photo’s filter list) which are excellent results!
