I’ve used previous versions of Photo and I find results from this latest version more artificial than previous versions and I paid a lot of money for it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Now my bird feathers are fluid (after denoise) having no definition whatsoever.

That’s interesting, just to be clear and I apologise for the confusion but, are you referring to the old Topaz Photo AI or the new Topaz Photo because, the reason I ask is they are slightly different and although, the title of this is Topic is Photo AI too Artificial and you’re posted in a Topaz Photo AI category yet, you mentioned previous versions of Photo and paying a lot of money which would suggest the new Topaz Photo.
You mentioned Denoising is making the birds feathers are fluid with no definition. Denoise hasn’t changed so, I was wondering did you apply Denoise after Sharpening or after you’re Upscaled the image which would enhance the noise before applying Denoise.
Would it be possible to post some before and after images with the settings you used for a better understanding of the issue you’ve having and please include the image attributes ISO, Resolution and processing to the image before handling it of to Topaz Photo for example would be of great benefit.
