I am an annual subscriber to Photo AI. With Studio coming does that mean I still qualify for Studio when its available or am I stuck paying for something that is no longer supported? So should I just cancel the annual subscription?!??
Welcome, f.i. The Studio version of Photo AI is available now. Download it from Topaz Labs and install it and try it out. You should be able to use it without additional charge for the duration you paid as shown in your account. The Studio version gets feature upgrades as long as your subscription stays active. The app won’t work if you let the subscription lapse. You can decide later whether it’s worth keeping the subscription going forward.

To keep access to the new Studio app, your Subscription has to remain active. If you cancel it, you can keep using your now-discontinued Photo AI instead, on a compatible computer!
I’m confused. I thought I was downloading an update to Photo AI today and ended up downloading Topaz Photo instead. My subscription page shows my Photo AI subscription is cancelled now.
GigaPixel 8 is now prompting me to download the new Topaz GigPixel, and I don’t even see my GigaPixel subscription anymore.
I DO see an upcoming renewal for Topaz Studio and the amount equals what I previously paid for annual Photo AI and GigaPixel combined.
Do I understand because I am a “Topaz Founding Member” that the new annual subscription (which equals the sum of my previous subscriptions) will give me access to Topaz Studio as long as I renew each year and that I retain the legacy products too. And that if I decide to cancel my subscription in the future, I’ll lose access to the Studio but retain the non-updated legacy products?
Yes that’s correct as long as you maintain your Auto-Renewal Subscription everything you’re asking is correct and you’ll still have access to the Legacy applications if you cancel.

That is correct. YOu have access to Studio until your original Photo AI/ GigapixeL AI expirations date lapses, then at that date, if your Subscriptions page still has the new Studio Founder subscription active you are set to continue using Studio. If you cancel it, you can go back to using your owned AI apps, but would lose Studio access. That lokced in price remains as long as the subcription remains active!
