I deinterlaced a video using this setting: 2x upscale 59.94 FPS, interlaced, auto detect, Dione DV 2x FPS. Do I now use the progressive setting to further improve my video?
Encoding with the de-interlacing model should have converted your video to progressive. If you want to check, you can use a tool like MediaInfo (MediaInfo). Right-click on the file, select “MediaInfo,” then select “view” and then “text” or “html.” In the window that pops up, look under the video heading. The information there will tell you if the file is interlaced, telecined or progressive. When you de-interlace, the output should be in progressive format.
Yes. to further improve your video, you will use progressive setting only
