Your eye just wants to keep looking at this. Almost like the Cypress Knobs are little creatures but that might just be me 
Any relation to Cypress Knees from Florida. Once made a lamp out of one.

I think the two terms are used interchangeably, with knees being the more common reference. Perhaps it is based on what state the tree is in. And I too see them as small creatures. Something related to meerkats.
And they make me happy
