Created simple LUT editor for the use with TVAI to download

Since I couldn’t find a really simple LUT editor online and I am not really proficient in video editors like DaVinci Resolve, I created a simple html based LUT editor with the help of Claude AI.
The published artifact can be accessed online:
https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/196d3e13-dc85-49f6-9a65-dff30fdedfe1

Or even better, you can download the .html file and run it in Chrome (in Edge it didn’t work properly):
claude_lut_editor.zip (6.1 KB)

I use it primarily to correct simple color casts from older movies.

  • Load Image (eg saved scene screenshot from TVAI)
  • ‘Select White Point’ in right image is usually a good start
  • Then use any other of the controls (double click on slider will reset)
  • Then ‘Generate LUT’. This will give u the LUT in a text field to copy to clipboard and will also download a .cube file (but that works for me online when using local html version, not from online)

One trick. After generating one LUT with the help of the image of one scene, u can load an image from another scene which might not look so great, and the current values will be applied automatically. So u can fine tine with multiple scenes.

Enjoy
