Crashing my PC whilst rendering

I’m having a really annoying problem with Video and Video AI. If i render say a 1080 with 25fps to output is 4k 50fps, my whole PC crashes.

It’s only really started doing this in the last few months.

my set up is

Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

Processor Intel Core i9-14900K, 3200 Mhz

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

64gb ram

logsForSupport.zip (1.2 MB)

different source files tested? I ask because of tons of this into the log: ”76656 Warning [Timeline Manager] ! Retrieving but Could not find timeline with psUID: 30” then do without fps change for a test.

The footage is from I think a Canon camera. It’s been recorded at 29.970 fps and is 1080p.
All i’m wanting to do is convert thie footage to 4K 50fps. But even just opening up either Topaz video or Topaz video AI, I’ve noticed that as soon as i open up these programs the Ram and CPU usage goes through the roof.

Can you share the system profile report for your system so the support team can check for hardware issues as well? help@topazlabs.com

How To Obtain Your System Profile (Windows)

There have been issues before with videos shot via DJI hardware due to how they encode and add on metadata that the app struggles to read at times. If its a file issue, then running the source video through handbrake to remove that additional metadata tags can be helpful.

@dave-8164 Or just remux with “MKVToolnix” drag video into MKVToolnix and click start multipplexing, then try with this one
