Cpu/Ram for 5080

I am looking to upgrade my PC and am looking at this option, I am wondering if the CPU/ram is opimised for this set up? Mostly using it to work on 480/720 input.

RYZEN 7 9700X 3.8GHz 8CORE/16THREAD
MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI 6E
T-FORCE RGB 6000MHz 32GB(16GBx2) CL30
MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS
CRUCIAL P3 PLUS 2TB NVMe SSD
THERMALRIGHT 850S GOLD PSU

Thats a good system if you are working with 480 and 720p inputs.

You exceed the System Requirements for Video AI which is ideal.

Are you looking to upscale these videos to above 4k?

Yes, upscaling these videos

That setup should work for those processes, depending on the file sizes you will probably want to get an external hard drive to move them to after they are done processing though.

Just wanted to update to say that this set up is actually CPU capped most of the time. CPU utilisation at about 100% while GPU utilisation is about 45%

It pends on the model, Starlight mini gpu usage is 100% and CPU not that important, other models that goes on the cpu then your RYZEN 7 9700X is not the bottle neck, but you can uprade the cpu to Ryzen9 9900X :slightly_smiling_face:
