Just picked up a 9070xt 16gb and thought you might enjoy a little anecdotal benchmark results against my 3070 8gb. It appears to scale pretty closely to Puget’s overall comparison with the Video AI benchmark - almost twice as fast as the 3070!

I’ve been waiting for the prices of the 9070xt to drop to something somewhat more “normal” than when it was launched, and it do look like it’s time to pull the trigger, but I do worry a bit about performance and as I have read very little about optimizations for the new AMD’s I’m still a bit hesitant.
In my case I’m replacing a RX 6700 so I’m pretty certain that there will be an interesting boost in performance - optimization or not…
