It looks like if you have credits for Astra (astra.app), they no longer work on Starlight (app.topazlabs.com/starlight), as it looks like the monthly plans are now separate and different for topazlabs.com and astra.app. It used to be that cloud credits would show up for both astra.app and app.topazlabs.com/starlight regardless of where you bought your subscription or your credits.
The most monthly credits you can get on topazlabs.com is 600, which isn’t much at all.
Since Astra Precise and Starlight are exactly the same, then it’s not like access has actually been lost at this point.
But it’s concerning seeing these things change, with so much drastic difference between Astra and Topaz.
It’s very confusing and it gives the impression of an uncertain future without clear statements and direction from Topaz.
Edit (9/20/25) - The above was simply due to the implementation of Topaz Studio, which took some time.
So I take it that Astra is meant to be completely separate now? Not part of Topaz Studio?
Why have two things (Astra Precise and Starlight) that are the exact same models and produce the exact same results?
