Can Video AI 6 Be Upgraded for old desktop standalone version? Licensing and Availability Issues

Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide which is best for you my friend you pay your money you take your choice

I know its about “whatever you want” (I am a quo fan!) - but sorry, your position is not clear to me and I am not sure why you are not being explicit with it, but appreciate your input.

Can anyone else comment on if $150 is worth it for 7- or better to jump ship to a competitor who will update models without charging monthly subs like Topaz :money_bag: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed: :dollar_banknote: ?

The comment on that youtube vid advertising 7 that stands out is:

“When I bought this software for $200.00 in 2024 I had no idea that it was only going to work for a year. After I installed it, I only tried it for about a half hour, and thought I’d come back to it later. sigh”…is this answering my question, I’m not sure haha!

Hmmm looks like 7 is built just for nvidia to use starlight, I am an amd man though at the moment with the 7900xtx so maybe not?

Thanks all.

Ok I have the answer - lol starlight mini doesn’t work with AMD stuff. Well that has saved me wasting my money further with Topaz. :money_bag: :dollar_banknote: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

The solution is then - if you have NVDIA - maybe pay the $150 to upgrade, but probably don’t as you are paying for dead software and just go to the competitor.

If you are AMD - absolutely not.

Goodbye Topaz - you started off great - now its just :money_bag: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed: :dollar_banknote: .

:-1: :-1: :-1:

Thanks all.
