Black Friday discount for renewals?

Am I missing something in regards to the black friday sales promotion? Are there no renewal-offers? :slight_smile:

The renew offers are

Photo AI = $74
Video AI = $129
Gigapixel = $49
DeNoise = $49
Sharpen = $49

You won’t see the offers unless you’re signed in to your account

You also won’t see the offers if your Subscription is valid in that case you’re have to wait until it runs out

If these two don’t apply to you, then please send a Support Request and ask for help. Link for Support can be found at the bottom of this page

Hope this helps

thanks!

Of course it is not advisable to renew DeNoiseAI and SharpenAI subscriptions as for those two there are no further upgrades planned.

Gigapixel was said to get an update some time in the future but also there I guess an renewal of the subscription only makes sense if you’re constantly preferring Gigapixel over TPAIs upscaling.
I sometimes do (preferGP to TPAI), but not so often and in that few cases, the 6.3.3 GigapixelAI version won’t stop working even if I do not get the newest update…

maybe renew Giapixel subscription when it gets n update.
shame if you renew it now and let’s say an update is released in 14 months and you can’t upgrade.

Considering my last VEAI renewal was only $75, I’m not sure how much of a deal $129 is. Might as well wait for a major update to renew as the current version is quite good for what I need.

indeed. how much was it before the discount?

No idea, but it looks like we get no break whatsover for being current owners. The $129 is to buy it and get a year of upgrades. Great deal if you’re new. Not so much if you’ve already forked over a few hundred dollars since launch.

So here are four screenshot from the video, as Videos are not supported here. I got email to get cyber Monday offer and when I click the link there is 60% discount for not logged in people, once I am automatically logged in the discount changes to 41%. Not saying it isn’t great, just don’t have allowance in my budget to get upgrades for 233$. I could consider 60% though, that would make it 158$ for TVAI and PAI which would be OK given its once a year.
I just can’t unsee those 60% now.

Count me among those who are disappointed about the confusion and lack of clarity surrounding upgrades. Last year I paid a reasonable amount to extend upgrades on Gigapixel, Sharpen, and Denoise for another year. Now it seems they’re attempting to push us toward Photo AI when I prefer the older apps. And, of course, the “deal” I got offered to extend AI and Gigapixel is far more than I paid for the same extension last year. Hell, they had prices up there to extend updates for Sharpen and Denoise when it sounds like they won’t even be updated going forward. These are some shifty business practices, and I’m not parting with any more money at the moment.

So I just checked my upgrade renewal pricing again and guess what? It’s now $87. Not sure what the coding hiccups were during the Black Friday sale, but this is more palatable.

Yeah, I just got an email for 25% off and $25 off, which puts it at $87 to renew. Now I’ll actually do it. The previous price was a joke.

I emailed Support last night due to my confusion of renewals. The $99 license renewal fee disappeared. You do know have to renewal each component separately; however, you only have to renewal “Photo AI” and “GigaPixel AI”. The other components will not be upgraded pasted the current version. Stating that the current cost (12/30/23) cost of an upgrade is $148.00. An increase of 50% over the $99 prior cost.
