Better Tracking of Current settings

I use Topaz Photo AI to upscale many images to the same size. My workflow is:

  1. Load Image & Wait (for Auto pilot)

  2. Set Upscale Height to 3400

  3. (a) Quick Export & (b) Wait…

  4. Close image (control-w)

Sometimes during step-3b Wait, I go off and do other things. When I come back several minutes later and close the image, there is NO way for me to tell if it actully exported / saved or not. It always says my changes will be lost and the “Image Saved” dialog is long gone by then. This is a problem because sometimes I forget to do the save/export and end up never processing the image.

Solution 1 - When I click the “quick export” button and it successfully exports, then DON’T tell me that my changes will be lost when I close the image.

Solution 2 - When I make changes to the image adjustments, create a “Dirty” flag that shows I’ve made changes, and when I click Export, remove the dirty flag.

Solution 3 - Show a permanent indicator that the image was exported - including either, just an icon, or a timestamp, or count.

I see now that if during 2. Set Upscale Height, I add & Wait, then when I do the 3) Quick export, I get a windows telling me that I just completed the export.

So, if I wait during step 2 or 3, then there is no problem. However, my time is valuable and I would like to set up some kind of process where I don’t have to sit and wait while a little icon spins.

OK, I have worked around this problem by figuring out how batch processing works.

The: Control-A > Right-Click > Apply Current Settings sequence is certainly not obvious from the UI.

Hi Christopher.

In case you missed anything here’s the link for Batch Processing

Hope this helps
