Better handling of Cache when overwriting files

Hi, there.

I’m using Topaz standalone – v1.0.2.

Here’s what I was doing:

  1. Edit an image in my usual editor and save it – say “Image_Test.jpg”.

  2. Drag the image into Topaz and do something (sharpen, or whatever), and then save it (with a Topaz suffix in the filename – “Image_Test-Topaz.jpg”).

  3. Realise the original file needs to be re-edited, so process it in my usual editor, and save it by over-writing the original “Image_Test.jpg” with the same name.

  4. File > Close all images in Topaz

  5. Drag the modified “Image_Test.jpg” into Topaz. What I see is the previous version of the file.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

a) I’ve just reproduced this problem with a .jpg file, but a .tif file works correctly: when using .tif, at stage 5 above the left hand side of the split screen shows the new file, and the right hand side shows the old version – but only for a few seconds, and then it too shows the new version.

b) If I do File > Close all images in Topaz and then drag in the new image again, the left hand side of the split screen shows the new image and the right-hand side shows the old image (a bit like with .tif – but with .jpg the right-hand side does not change to the new version after a few seconds).

c) The problem persists even if I press Clear at top-right of screen in the “Recent” panel.

d) If I close Topaz and re-open it, the “Recent” panel still shows the old version but the main window shows the new version when I drag the file in.
