NTSC 29.97 video that is really important to me. I am not in a rush and the process can take as much time as needed to try to make it great. Any thoughts on process or settings? I use a mac with M4 tons of ram. Thank you so much for any tips. marty
Is the video in an interlaced or progressive format?
If Interlaced, I would recommend starting with the Mini DV preset and see how that works for you in a short preview.
It’s from an old TV broadcast that my father directed so interlaced. Thank you, I’ll give it a shot.
First deinterlace (I still think that handbrake does a good enough job there).
Then Starlight 2x.

Iris, and change the fps to 59.94. For better results, deinterlace using Hybrid to 59.94, then Rhea. If you can run Starlight, that’s even better. (I can’t on my Mac, not enough RAM.)
THANK YOU!
