Here’s a screenshot of the results I’m getting when processing a 9:16 resolution video in Astra using the Starlight Precise 2 model and upscaling to 4K. The processed video looks fine in the web player, but looks bad as in the attached screenshot when I download it and play it on my PC.
OK, I think I resolved the problem myself - the processed video only looks like this when I play it in VLC Media Player (latest version). When I played the video in Davinci Resolve 20, Vegas Pro 23, and even in the Windows 11 Photo app it played fine, so it must be an issue with VLC Media Player (perhaps some kind of codec issue with VLC?). You can go ahead and close this case.
