Any news if B& W Effects is to be updated and possibly put into studio?
It is sometime since an update and as Nik SFX is now parked by Google an update would help to make BW Effects a significant market player.
My personal request for an update is principally to make it less harsh as compared to Nik SFX as it can easily appear gritty without a great deal of care. I suspect the one way would be to enable more slider movement thus allowing finer adjustments although there may also be scope for some basic algorithm updates as well.
