The author of an idea might not be aware that they can add their own vote. So for the sake of certainty and consistency, can Topaz automatically add the author’s own vote, please?
In fact, because this is such a brilliant idea, I think all the staff at Topaz should add their vote too.
On second thoughts, I think Topaz should automatically add all the forum users’ votes on their behalf to save each of them the effort of voting, as I’m sure you all think this is a great idea too.
Actually, I think Topaz should just change this idea’s vote count to infinity and done with it.

The staff cant vote on ideas, unfortunately, as there are some the support team definitely would put our vote behind. Instead, we just grab the idea and send it along with the forum post to the team and make an internal ticket about it.
But you are onto something about when an idea is made it should already have at least one vote for it. Let me look into that and see what we can find.
Well Andy, unfortunately, within the Discourse setup there is not an option to enable an auto-vote it seems and that is who hosts and built the platform. I sent them a request about seeing if this can be setup in the future.
