I have some videos which have been ripped with wrong aspect ratio. The sources are DVDs in 720x576 PAL and 720x480 NTSC, 4:3 anamorphic. Unfortunately, they were ripped with square pixels, i.e. the display aspect ratio for PAL shows as 5:4, for NTSC 3: 2, both should be 4:3.
Currently, I convert such media for correct display aspect ratio prior to processing with Video AI. Is there a way to correct it in Video AI (no cropping, no letterbox) ?
Yes I have a bunch of videos that were ripped form DVDs in Anamorphic format and interlaced. I need to de-interlace it and then upscale to 1920x1080. So far it appears that Topaz Video 6 AI cannot do teh horizontal stretching that is needed. I read a post on the forum that the software engineers were working on such a feature but it appears to not be implemented in version 6. Any suggestions?
