Alternate Grids for Architectural Images

Here are 3 grids for Architectural and other images that I was introduced to by Jim Welninski of Altered Space Phototribe They are like the Rule of Thirds Grid but the unique perspective seems to work very well with buildings. Use the points of intersection within the image for points of interest and the diagonal lines for leading lines guides. The point in the middle works for symmetrical shots. These are easy to make for any sensor size or aspect ratio.

The 3 images here are for a full size sensor but they are easy to make for micro 4/3 or other size or crop ratio.

To draw; make 2 lines each from corner to corner of your image size. Now draw 4 more lines to form the grid, each line starts at a corner and forms a 90° angle with one of the 2 original lines.
