It would be nice if Topaz could save to the same NEF format that it reads, so that my workflow could then continue using NX Studio, rather than Photoshop.
The only other option I believe is to process the raw file in NX Studio exporting the modified file to one of these 5 types: JPG / TIFF 16bit / TIFF 8bit / HEIF HLG / HEIF PQ. Then use this exported file for Topaz but I think that Topaz would work better on the NEF raw file? Of the 5 other files I could export to, would Topaz work best on TIFF 16bit?
I can use Photoshop to complete the workflow, but it is more cumbersome and time consuming than using NX Studio.
I will also request that NX Studio allow access DNG files.
