For the processing, I selected Auto and the program used the GPU to do the processing. Maybe there should be an option called Both to use both CPU and GPU to process? Fast systems like those with 8/16 core CPUs and loads of memory would sure benefit.
No, the CPU does already feed the gpu and the memory is already a cache.
