For anyone interested, Amazon just posted 50% off Black Friday deals. Regular & student/teacher.
I, of course, missed them by having to renew directly with Adobe on Nov 10… but, perhaps, you can benefit!

It states 50% of for the first year which would suggest it’s first time subscripers / new customers only even so, it’s certainly a good deal
That could be! I didn’t read the fine print.
It was definitely for 1 yr vs auto renewal.
Good note for prospective buyers to carefully read the terms!
And, read the reviews on the Amazon page to find out what issues users encountered trying to activate Adobe CC Pro via an Amazon purchase. Sounds like lots of hoops to jump through and some people got hung up during the attempted jumps … One person details the steps they followed to help others.
Well, you can buy the discounted subscription at Adobe directly, no need to go by Amazon.
Hi Oliver.
That’s true it doesn’t matter where you get it from it’s certainly a good deal and unless you’re grandfatherd in somewhere you certainly have to take the opportunity when it comes knocking.
Especially, with the price increases lately form Adobe and Topaz decision to make the move to subscriptions these deals are worth their weight in gold
Because, the shrewd person can commit for the year then cancel within the Eleventh Month and by the time their subscription expires Black Friday would come round again so, can take advantage of the next year’s deal.
In addition, it’s not important how much next year deals will be just knowing that they will be the best deal of the year should be enough.
We all have to be Shrewd Operators nowadays.
As Andy mentioned, folks should hunt around and optimize because all pricing is now exorbitant & crazy! For software that should amortize fairly quickly. Well, at least those are my descriptors.
I believe the Amazon student deal works out to $15/month vs Adobe’s $20/month.
And, frustrating as Adobe is to deal with and understand on calls or requiring luck for connecting with someone who knows what they’re doing vs reading from a script, Amazon can be equally bad and more likely unable to address activation issues & would likely point the finger back at Adobe. If you like circles you’d probably be content in that dealing.
