This is an image taken in the Wrangell–St. Elias National Park and Preserve in Alaska. The machinery is in part of what was once a very productive copper mine.
I like old photos displaying a period from past history, they are lost treasures. Nice edit and capture.
Nice edit.
glad you’ve preserved some important history
Great flashback in time …nice work.
great capture and edit - Wrangell-St Elias is a very nice place
The edit is so right for the subject matter.
Those old photos often portray a time much simpler than today’s hustle and bustle.
Thanks for looking
Terry, I hope that future generations will be able to look back at the present and have the same feelings as we have about times gone by. I fear that may not be the case.
Thanks Bob
Those are my sentiments about much of Alaska.
thanks Larry - that’s an important thought
Great shot, I was there a year ago and your photo and the processing really captured the spirit of the place!
Kennicott and Wrangell-St. Elias is truly remarkable.
