Linda, here is the SOOC image:

so first I cropped out the part I wanted, then created a layer containing only the two flowers and the bud

I then went to the lower layer and applied an abstract look in Topaz Studio 2, then back to the flower layer and applied a bit of an expressionism look, playing around with it until I got it to the place where it blended with the abstract look in the lower layer, but still had some realism left in it.

That really transformed the original. It’s a great blend of representational & softened abstraction!
