4.0 unusable due to CPU limitations…it was a great product while it lasted.
I’m sure you can get a refund for the mistake of not knowing the minimum system requirements.
(The following statement is meant to be a joke… but it’s one of those bad ones that rings too true to be funny.)
You’re not out much. It would have been as slow as tar on something that old. Being able to install it and run it will probably drive you crazy and move you to buying a new computer.

3.5 worked just fine for me. I have a Xeon E5-1650 v2 and all prior versions up to 4.0 worked wonderfully. I have a RTX 2060 gpu…and now I have a program that I’ve had for over a year, and paid for, that I can no longer use. I ran into this issue when it went to v3.x.x, but then an update fixed it and I never had stability issues. Now, I can no longer use it?

try the workaround in the meantime.
