Yellow artifact with raw image files

If i have a raw image with a white or slightly overexposed area, but recoverable in a Raw photo editor,
then Photo Ai generates a yellow artifact that becomes embedded in the raw exported image.

If i open the same image directly in any raw photo editor, then the yellow area is not present.

This is a known bug that our developers are currently investigating. The current workaround is to convert to DNG using Adobe DNG Converter:

Or, if you’re using the Lightroom plugin, use the Photo > Edit in > Topaz Photo AI workflow which will process a TIF instead of a RAW.

Thanks for your understanding as we get this fixed for you.

Try updating to the latest version, we’ve added some DNG support that may help in this case. Thanks!
