Workspace Folder Cannot be changed thru preferences

I’m using Topaz Video AI 6 on Windows 11. The Workspace directory defaulted to my oneDrive Documents folder. This causes synchronization problems and lots of synchronization activities when previews are generated. I’ve tried to change it through the File/Preferences menus to my local computer C Drive, but each time I restart Topaz it goes back to the oneDrive folder.

Same. Unable to change the Workspace folder with Topaz 5.3.6 and 6.0.1. With Apple, iCloud keeps uploading then removing, uploading then removing gigabytes at a time…it’s crazy.

I am having the same issue. Topaz 6.01 is creating thousands (easily over 10,000)files) temporary files on OneDrive. I have tried to change preferences to local D: Drive and files continue to be saved to OneDrive. I have configured One drive to delete (rather than keep and notify me every time), however these files go into Recycle Bin and have to be deleted manually (and only way for me to do delete from recycle bin in OneDrive is to individually select each file). This operation took me 10 minutes to delete from recycle bin.

Is there an update to this and a solution forthcoming so that files don’t get saved on OneDrive folder (but rather local C: or D: drive (which i have). As a new user this is frustrating, as i don’t know if i will run into storage issues etc…

Thank you.

Version 6.0.3 still doesn’t fix this issue. Workspace folder cannot be set on an external drive. I don’t want it on my internal drive.
