Work Flow problem

I use Nikon NX Studio to review photos from a recent session. It has the ability to refer chosen photos to another App, and I have set up Topaz Photo AI as one such, along with PhotoShop and Radiant. Regrettably, when Topaz has finished doing its job, it wants to save the photo back to NX Studio, instead of to a folder on the computer. If I choose photos by browsing for them, then everything works fine. Photos referred this way to PhotoShop or to Radiant will happily save to a chooseable folder.

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Step 1 Select photo in NX Studio, and click on “Topaz” in “Other Apps”
2. Step 2 Process photo in Topaz
3. Step 3 Attempt to save it from Topaz.

I used the same workflow you did, after using Topaz from “other app” tab in NX Studion with edits, Topaz save xxx.NEF as identical file name in the “picture” folder. I thought all edits have been save into the NEF file(even the same file name), when I opened it with PS, I found nothing has been edited, i.e., identical to the original NEF file. Really puzzling me here, if nothing changed why bother to have “other app” tab in Nikon NX Studio? or maybe something I did do it right.
