Windows Photo AI 2.1.3 no longer opens HEIC photos

I try to open one and I get:
Unsupported feature: Unsupported codec

I get the same error on files I have opened just the other day. This is happening on my Windows laptop (I haven’t tried it on my Mac yet). Windows Photos opens them just fine.

I don’t know if it’s related, but installing the 2.1.3 update earlier took way longer then normal.

I am also having this same issue but on my Mac. So it appears to be happening on both platforms. It was working fine on 2.1.2 for me.

2.1.4 fixes the HEIC issue, posted on Dec. 7th.
